The P3P protocol is required by some browsers for accepting third party cookies.

However, all work on P3P has been suspended for several years by the World Wide Web Consortium and lacks support for technologies that are currently in use on the web. Most modern browsers do not fully support P3P anyway, so most sites do not have P3P policies.
